Neon Dipwad is back.

The Midwestern native has returned to the scene after a several month long session of trial and error to perfect his masterpiece. Once a producer of chill and ambient oriented nostalgia, this time Dipwad has turned his eyes to the hard sounds of the underground dance floor. In his first main project since the end of 2019, the euphoric synth pads and bright leads of chillwave have now been replaced by squelching basslines and hard hitting percussion, to create a 5 track, 34 minute EP of danceable acid house.

Neon Dipwad’s idea for this EP was to focus on the classic side of acid house, with most of his inspiration coming from Phuture, and more specifically, Acid Trax. The song that started acid house. What does this mean for this project? Well, the basic, raw sound of acid house, with minimal layering of other synths and vocals. These tracks were built to be reminiscent of 80s acid, but with Dipwad’s own gnarly spin on it.
